The River Tamar Project is a major cultural and public art programme, helping to develop new thinking and innovative ideas for the future of the River Tamar in the South West of England. Intercity created a contemporary visual identity for the project, including a fully responsive website, stationery and various brand collateral. The logomark references the three areas of focus for the programme; water, riverbanks and communities.
In a continuation of the work for the River Tamar Project, Intercity also designed the identity for the project's inaugural film festival, It’s All About the River. Taking inspiration from maritime signal flags, we used various colour combinations of geometric shapes to visualise the festival's many locations and highlights. In addition to applying the visual identity across a wide range of promotional materials, we also created a festival website and newspaper as part of the project.
